In Yahoo Japan's news last week was this latest adventure in rent-a-car madness.

Crazy eh, its a one-seater electric powered car that is road-certified and can travel at a max speed of 50km/h. You can rent one for 6 hours at a time here in Kyoto for 5500 yen (quite reasonable all things considered).

It's based on the Choro-Q series of radio-controlled cars.

I want one!
