ゲームコントローラというのは冗談ですが、これは日本の伝統芸能のひとつ人形浄瑠璃「文楽」で使われる人形の一部分です。このコントローラで首、眉毛、目、口などを細かく操作できます。

さらに文楽はひとつの人形を３人で操作する、世界的にも類のないユニークな人形芝居です。

I use the term "game controller" as a kind of joke, the picture above is the head part of a puppet from a traditional form of entertainment in Japan called "bunraku". Using the controller above, the puppeteer can control the neck, eyebrows, eyes, mouth in minute detail.

The entire puppet is controlled by 3 people as in the following photo.

They are manipulated in very real and sometimes very surreal ways to represent an array of emotions that make you forget they are puppets at all. They make useful reference material for 3d animators.

あるときは繊細でリアルに、あるときは非現実的でダイナミックに、とても人形とは思えない感情豊かな表現を見ることができます。（もちろん人形遣いの方のテクニックによりますが）

ゲームアニメータの人はアニメーションの研究に、一度ご覧になってみてはいかがでしょう。
