GDC 2010, Go With the Flow

Q-GamesのTech Teamに勤めているJaymin (Twitter @okonomiyonda)が今年GDCで行った「Go With the Flow! Fluid and Particle Physics in PixelJunk™Shooter」というセッションのスライドを公開します。

Here are the slides for the GDC 2010 programmer session「Go With the Flow! Fluid and Particle Physics in PixelJunk™Shooter」, done by Q-Games's Tech Team programmer Jaymin Kessler (Twitter @okonomiyonda).

Lots of topics are covered, among others: the use of realtime distance transforms for global collision detection, details about the fluid simulation that is so central to the game, and lots of SPU evangelism.

Enjoy!
