Sony PSP Details Revealed

Details have been announced regarding Sony's PSP today. First off, the cpu is over 300Mhz (that's faster clockwise than the PS2 albeit only 32-bit compared to PS2's 128-bit chipset). Graphics performance-wise it is 33 million polygons a second and supports curved surfaces apparently. Most importantly, it supports hardware clipping, yay! (the PS2 utilizes software clipping and is a serious Achilles heel)

It will also have wireless lan built-in from the get-go.

Overkill perhaps? How much is this thing going to cost? Note also, it is a TFT screen, you aren't going to be able to play this baby outdoors unless it has a serious backlight of some kind.

Anyone remember the Atari Lynx?
