I missed it last month, but it seems that a new album from yoko kanno, based on the latest Ghost in the Shell series (Stand Alone Complex, from Production I.G) has been released last month. For people who are not familiar with yoko kanno, she made the previous (excellent) Stand Alone Complex album, and before that great sound tracks albums for CowBoy Bee-Bop and Macross Plus. Here is her discography.
