July in Kyoto means it's time for the Gion Matsuri, a month-long event that is a seasonal tradition and one of the most famous festivals in Japan. A stand-out event of the festival is a parade of large floats though the streets of downtown Kyoto, known as the Yamaboko Junko. As luck would have it, the Q-Games office is located in a prime position to watch! We watched the parade from our windows, then went out to enjoy the festival. If you're ever in Kyoto in July, be sure to make time to enjoy the fun!
